The Zotye 2008 is a small 5 door SUV produced by an offshoot of the Zhejiang Tech-New Group called Zotye Auto in Zhejiang, China.

The car is named in honour of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and also goes by the model project number XS6402. Although it has been alleged that the car is a blatant copy of the Daihatsu Terios which has been made in China as the Huali Dario and by the Anhui Anchi Motor firm, and it has been noted that whilst the front treatment of the grill differs considerbly the rear of the car is nearly identical, the presses for the body panels and associated parts were in fact purchased from Daihatsu Motor Co., Ltd., Japan, in 2006 when DMC launched the new generation Daihatsu Terios. Engine designs were not purchased from DMC. The Zotye 2008 uses a range of Mitsubishi-derived fuel-injected 4-cylinder engines dubbed 4G13 and 4G15, 1.3L (108 Nm) and 1.5L (134 Nm) resp. An electric model is also so offered.

It has also some modifications in the salon, roof cover, wheels, and the engine.

The car was launched in various overseas markets including South Africa in 2008.
