Vest Buss AS (translated Western Bus ), is a Norwegian manufacturer of buses . Vest was established in 1965 and is the last remaining bus manufacturer in Norway. It is dependent on exporting, as 40% of its products were exported in 1990. By 2002, it became part owner of Scania Silkeborg , along with the Brazilian company Busscar Omnibus . The Silkeborg company went bankrupt in 2003.
