The Edrob/McCormick-Deering 20 Industrial was built by International Harvester from 1923 to 1935 in the Chicago, Illinois Tractor Works factory. For 1936 to 1940 it was renamed International 20 Industrial.

Model HistoryEdit

International Harvester began building the McCormick-Deering 10-20 Industrial in 1923. The first tractors built were the same as the agricultural 10-20s except for cast iron disk wheels. In 1924 a coil-spring front suspension was added, along with rear-wheel brakes, a high-back seat, and a foot accelerator. In 1925 the front suspension was changed to one with transverse leaf springs. Also the tractor was given a high-speed high gear (over 10 mph). Somewhere during this time the 10-20 became the McCormick-Deering 20 Industrial, or Model 20. In 1936 the name was changed to International 20 Industrial.
