The Link Club is the club that was created by many former members of the Caterpillar Owners Club known as ACMOC Chapter II. That club was disenfranshiesed by the parent group in the USA.
The Club is open to member who own Caterpilar machines and other makes of Crawler tractors an vintage plant. Its main focus is Tracked machinery, but members own alsorts of other machinery as well. None machine owners are also able to join and the Club is affiliated with Finning UK who support them with events and a section on there web site dedicated to classic machinery. Finning UK depots have arranged open days for members and lectures on machinery maintenace related to older type Caterpillar machinery.
The club arranges visits for members to see collections of machinery and has had several working days for members at sites throughout the UK.
The Club also has a stand at several of the larger tractor shows and displays a number of vintage Caterpillar crawlers at shows.
Club and Caterpillar branded merchandise is on also sold to fund the clubs events and the cost of publishing the club magazine "The Link". (a sample can be seen on the club web site)
