Gardner 13HF engine
The Engine Men is a mobile display of an L. Gardner and Sons Ltd industrial engine and ancillary equipment that is housed in a specially built exhibition unit based on a converted low loader trailer and a ERF tractor unit to haul it.
Description[]
The exhibition unit comprises;
- A Gardner 13HF engine serial no 51758 that was supplied new to McAlpines the construction and civil engineering contractors workshop
- A small engine for charging h air starter unit
- Air compressor and receiver
