Tasker Works No 1318 carries the Reg No. ‘AA 2143’ and was built in 1906 by Taskers of Andover. It is a 3nhp steam tractor.
It was one of a number of historic items owned by Taskers as part of a heritage collection.
When Montracon Trailers acquired “Craven Tasker” in 1988 the engine came along with the company. It underwent extensive mechanical restoration in the late 1990s by Rory Woolf an Irish Steam preservationist, and the recommissioning was completed throughout 2016/17 under the guidance of Jeff Spencer & Paul McCord. The Engine is still Owned by Montracon
