Front page redesign

The front (main) page is 2 years old and overdue for a revamp. It has several issue to resolve;

1. page with is too wide for std 1024 screen users
2. too many links
3. too much info
4. not updated often enough

please add your suggestions below here; - BulldozerD11 17:22, May 26, 2010 (UTC)

Suggestion:

• remove contents and helping out
• shorten 'whats new'
• move related web pages
• move 'work in progress'
