Starcraft Bus is a bus manufacturer located in Goshen, Indiana, USA , and is a division of Forest River , a Berkshire Hathaway company. The Starcraft company began in 1903, and down through the years became a noted manufacturer of conversion vans, RVs and trailers. In 1998, Starcraft Bus was formed to manufacture shuttle buses . Forest River purchased the company in 2001, with Berkshire Hathaway purchasing Forest River in 2005.
In 2008, Starcraft Bus manufactured their first Class A School bus (full-size bus), and has grown to become the USA's largest shuttle bus company, and fastest growing school bus company.[1]
