Scorton Steam (formerly Scorton Vintage and Country Fayre) is held near the Village of Scorton in Lancashire between the A6 and the M6 Motorway, just North of Garstang. (Just south of Forton Services - The one with the Tower).
The Event is family run and started in 2005, and has grown steadily since, becoming one of (if not the) biggest steam rallies in the North West. The event is more a family day out than a Steam fair with a wide range of entertainment to keep all the families interests entertained. This event's Main 'Feature event' for 2016 is the Broke FMX motorcycle stunt team. Previous attractions have been the Purple Helmets Motorcycle Stunt Team who perform in the main arena with daring and hilarious stunts and the Monster Trucks, Big Pete and the Grim Reaper. Over the years a number of different Stunt teams have appeared.
