Schulte is a manufacturer of slashers and rock removing equipment. It's factory is located in Englefeld, Saskatchewan, Canada. It is known for producing the world's biggest slasher. It's main competition is from rival company Land Pride, which also manufactures slashers. There is very little competition from anyone else since other companies like JNR and Ashland tend to focus on ground leveling, rather than rock-removal.

History[]

The company was founded in 1912, in a blacksmith in Englefeld. The company's founder, Casper Schulte, handed the company over to his son, John Schulte, in 1938. In 1942 John started building brush cutting and cleaning equipment. In 1947, John designed and built his first front mount snow blower that was purchased by the St. Gregor Snow Plow Club.  In 2000, Schulte joined Texas based US firm Alamo.
