Savage no.870 Organ engine mounted on centre engine Savage no. 869

Savage no. 870 is a No.3 organ engine built by Savage Bros of Kings Lynn, Norfolk, in 1915. It is believed to be one of the few still Working examples surviving today with its original Centre engine.

The engine is currently mounted on Bottons Pride a Savage Bros built centre engine sn 869 built in 1915.

The engine is currently owned by the Hollycombe Steam Collection in Hampshire.

Mounted in a set of steam Yachts.

Events attended[]

It is currently mounted in the steam yachts at the museum, so does not visit external events.
