PGV 184E at Suffolk Show in 2010/11
Roadless no. 4444 - reg no. PGV 184E is a Roadless Ploughmaster 95 built by Roadless Traction Ltd.
Tractor history[]
This tractor is currently owned by K.Kinsey and is an ex-Felixstowe Docks tractor. It was one of a fleet used by the docks to move freight about in the 1980/90s. These tractors were used from 1967 to the early 80s for general cargo with 25 ton trailers, also shunting lorry artic trailers with a hydraulic 5th wheel dolly. No regular job was for unloading imported Carlsberg beer from Ro-Ro ships on purpose made trailers
This tractor was purchased directly from Felixstowe docks. It has been restored from a poor ex work condition, back to agricultural spec. But several other examples of these industrial ex dock tractors were sold/offered for sale via Cheffins Cambridge machinery sales.
