Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited is the Indian subsidiary of Renault Nissan.

History[]

Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited was established in 2005.

Manufacturing facilities[]

Renault Nissan Automotive India Private Limited have their manufacturing plant in Chennai. The plant has a capacity of 400,000 vehicles per annum. The capacity is divided equally between Renault India Private Limited and Nissan Motor India Private Limited[2].

Models[]

Renault[]

RIPL will launch two models in 2011 followed by a full range of vehicles for each segment by 2013. It plans to have at least five models for the Indian Market by 2013. The Fluence and Koleos will be manufactured at its Chennai Plant[3][4].

RIPL[]

RIPL will launch 7–8 dealerships in India in 2011, which will be increased to 70 dealerships by the end of 2013. RIPL has plans to launch 40 dealerships every 12 months[5][6].

NMIPL[]

NMIPL has appointed Hover Automotive India for the sales, service, parts, marketing & dealer development functions for Nissan vehicles in India. Nissan currently has 15[7] dealerships across 15 cities in 8 states and 2 Union territories of India. It plans to have 30 dealerships by the end of 2010[8] and 100 dealerships by 2012[9].
