In mid-1984 he began his activity TALLERES METALURGICOS PRABA this was a family business which emerged as a partnership of two families from the town of Tortugas which gave the name to the brand, PRA Prarizzi and BA from Baldoni. In their beginnings they were located in the rural area of the aforementioned town, where they began to manufacture agricultural implements, their first machine was a vibro cultivator, which would be followed by a chisel, and towards the end of the same year, we are talking about 1984 , a drag spray. The longing for progress of the partners were many for which these began to be presented in exhibitions to make known the new implements and forge a name in the field of field people.

Moving to Tortugas

On January 13, 1987, the company moved to the town of Tortugas, because it presented problems in obtaining material and taking on new personnel. When moving to the locality, the company continued growing in the manufacture of all the implementos of tillage that were required for the time, always with very good sales and incorporating in continuous form new employees, for like this achieve a greater and efficient production.

Praba in the 2000's

When entering the direct seeding in the Argentine field many of the products we manufactured fell into disuse, this is why the company made a strategic decision to emphasize its production in trailed sprayers and later in 2004 the company launched its motorized sprayer which had a very good acceptance. Today, a total of 52 people work at PRABA SRL, including factory and administration, representing fifty families in the locality and surrounding areas. In recent years it has been possible to strengthen our sales network, which has spread throughout Argentina, bordering countries such as Bolivia and Uruguay through concessionaires and with whom it has always had the same treatment as nationals.

Export markets

PRABA SRL today is also coming to market such as Paraguay, Russia and Venezuela, showing the quality of our product in areas of high demands for our machines, this variety of equipment is adapted to the needs and requirements of customers both national and international. international With the passage of time, today we can say that the Company is recognized and the machines we manufacture have the latest technology. This story would not have been possible without our clients, so we want to thank them for giving us the opportunity to help them in their daily task, to be able to offer solutions and to have allowed us to walk close to them, and since this is a family story we want to let you know that in all of these years of hard work and great satisfaction our greatest achievement is to count on you in this great family called PRABA Metallurgical Workshops.
