The T9.700 is the second most powerful tractor in production, with a staggering 682hp. It's only beaten by the Case IH Quadtrac, at 692hp, only 10hp more. The type is built in Steiger’s plant in Fargo, North Dakota.

Versions[edit | edit source]

There are two key versions of the T9.700. One has eight huge wheels and is capable of pulling a 15-row Plow. The other, known as the SmartTrax, has four tracks, similar to the Quadtrac, but is features four idlers per track, instead of the Ouadtrac's three.
