A Pair of restored Monarch tractors

Monarch Tractor Co was a British manufacturer of compact garden tractors.

History[]

The company produced a compact tractor (three wheel by OTA and four wheel by Singer - the Monarch) to meet the post war demand for tractors for market gardens. The tractor was powered by a Ford sidevalve 10HP engine with the three speed gearbox from the then current Ford Prefect (E93A and E493A).[1]
