The Mid-America Threshing Show is an antique farm machinery show held annually in August in Tipton, Indiana, USA. Each year, the show features a brand of equipment, and some years feature the so-called "orphan" brands; brands that existed for only a short time.
The show is held at the Tipton County Fairgrounds, and features a flea-market, toy show, food vendors and parts booths/trailers. Large steam engines, threshing machinery, garden tractors, stationary engines, gas/diesel/LP tractors, shellers, etc... are on exhibit and demonstrated throughout the four-day show.[1]
The show roots began in 1974 from the merger of two former threshing shows, the Goldsmith Old-Settlers Threshing Show, and ??Elwood??? show.
