Mercedes Benz Mexico S.A. de C.V. is a subsidiary of Daimler AG headquartered in Mexico City. Its commercial vehicle branch, Daimler Vehiculos Comerciales, S. de R.L. de C.V. has three manufacturing facilities in Santiago Tianguistenco, and Saltillo (class 7 and 8 trucks), and García, Nuevo Leon (passenger buses); In the past -not verified- it used to assemble passenger cars from kits (CKD/SKD) for the local market.
