Mercedes-Benz Argentina is the largest manufacturer of trucks and buses in Central and South America, and one of the largest Daimler AG plant outside of Germany. The company is a fully owned subsidiary of Daimler AG, and began production in Virrey del Pino, Argentina in 1952. With some 9,000 employees, the plant covers 700,000 sqm.[1]
