The Mazda Biante (a car name is coined word from Ambient) is an 8-seater large MPV introduced for Japanese market, in 2008 by Mazda.
It is available with 2.0 litre or 2.3 litre petrol engines in two trim levels - CS or S. It is available with front wheel drive mated to a five-speed automatic gearbox, or with four wheel drive mated to a four-speed automatic gearbox. The cheapest model (20CS) is available for ¥2,199,000; the most expensive model (20S 4WD) is available for ¥2,669,000. It fits between the Premacy and MPV in Mazda's range.The biante aimed for young couples with small children. Mazda designed the biante with style in mind unlike most other mpvs {multi purpose vehicles}.
