MacDon Industries Ltd. is a large family-owned swather and header manufacturer based in Winnepeg, Manitoba, Canada. Founded in 1949 by brothers Tom and Bill Killbery as Killbery Industries, the company has gone on to become one of the largest swather manufacturers in the world. MacDon has facilities in Russia, the USA and Australia. Joe MacDonald purchased the company in 1971, and renamed it MacDon.[1]

While manufacturing their own brand, MacDon, the company has also manufactured Westward swathers, Premier for sale by John Deere and Prairie Star for sale by New Holland. In 2012, MacDon signed an agreement to manufacture swathers for John Deere under the John Deere brand,[2] building on a relationship that spans 30 years.

Customers have included Massey-Harris, Cockshutt, Minneapolis-Moline, Oliver, J.I.Case, White Farm Equipment, John Deere, Case IH, Westward and New Holland.
