MAN Trucks India was formed in 2012 after the dissolution of the joint venture MAN Force . MAN Force was a 50/50 jv with Force Motors . In 2011, it was decided that Force would exit the business, and their share of the jv was sold to MAN, with full conversion happening in January 2012. The truck models under production continue, with only the removal of the Force brand name.
