The Lister Stock Drinker was an unusual device built by the Lister Company of Dursley Gloucestershire. The device was a small diaphragm pump that lifted water from streams or ponds to a dished bowl by the stock pushing a plunger with its nose as it goes to drink from the small bowel attached.

A restored example presented by J. Davies of Carmarthen at the Lister Tyndale Steam Rally 2009
