The Land Rover Aqaba Assembly Plant Co., Ltd. is a joint venture between the Land Rover brand, the Shahin Group and Ole Jordan. It was founded on the February 18, 2001 and is located in the Aqaba Special Economic Zone of Aqaba in Jordan. The location is strategically chosen because the work has its own mooring for ships. There was a capital of 70 million dinar injected to built this plant. About 1000 workers are employed there. Circa 5000 units are assembled and manufactured annual in this facility.

Responsible firms for the distribution of the cars are the partner firms Ole Jordan and Mahmoudia Motors. The distribution in the Middle East is regulated by the Land Rover Customer Relationship Centre in Dubai.
