The 7000 series was John Deere’s replacement of it's mid-ranged tractors, with two models in the series. The tractors featured styling similar to the 6000 series, but with up-rated engines. The models that replaced the 7000 series featured a more unique look. These tractors were built solely in the USA at Waterloo. It was unusual in having only two models, the 7200 and 7400. The other series were the 200030004000500060008000, and 9000 series.

Model Power Ratings[]

As there were only two models, the smaller 7200 had around 8hp less than the 7400, with 86hp at the drawbar and 98hp at the PTO.

The bigger 7400 had 92hp at the drawbar with 107hp at the PTO.

The series that replaced the 7000 series, the 7010 series, added an extra model, the 7510.
