The John Deere 1010 was built from 1960 through 1965, when it was replaced by the John Deere 1020. It was built in Dubuque, Iowa, USA, and featured a 36 hp (27 kW) John Deere engine.[1]

An industrial version was built from 1960 to 1965. The model was launched as part of the John Deere New Generation launch in August 30, 1960.

Preservation[]

A few examples of JD industrials are being collected now in the UK as collectors look for that different tractor to stand out from the crowd.

  • JD 1010 industrial - sn W 27154 of 1962 - A petrol engined machine from the USA. Won 3rd place in Nominated class & Best NVTEC members tractor at 6 th Newark VTH show in 2008 for owner H. Dixon.
