The Jacobsen Chief lawn tractor was built in the Racine, Wisconsin, USA by the Jacobsen Corporation.

Model historyEdit

For brand history, see Jacobsen Corporation.The Jacobsen Chief was first introduced in 1961 with the 100A and 100B models.  The 100A was the deluxe model with an electric start while the 100B was the base model with a pull-start. Both models were 2WD and came with a 7 hp (5.2 kW) Kohler motor.  The 100A and 100B were only produced up until 1962. 

There was a 6 hp (4.5 kW) Lauson engine model as well.
