The International TD-25E was a diesel engined crawler tractor built by the International Harvester company from 1978 to 1983 in the USA.

Model history[]

For Company history, see International Harvester.

The International TD-25E was an upgrade of the TD-25C dozer, with the same 310 hp (230 kW) net engine and with the 4-speed power shift transmission. The weight was increased but other basic specifications were unchanged. The 310 net hp TD-25E competed with the 300 hp (220 kW) Caterpillar D8K, the 300 hp (220 kW) Fiat-Allis 21-C and FD-30, the Fiatallis FD-30, and the 320 hp (240 kW) Komatsu D-155A-1. The TD-25E was built until 1983. International Harvester sold its construction equipment operations to Dresser Industries in 1984. The Hough-International Division of Dresser Industries restarted production of the TD-25E in 1985 and then replaced it with the Dresser International TD-25G
