The International Cub Cadet 800 was built by International Harvester from 1974 to 1976 in the Louisville, Kentucky, USA factory. It features a 8 hp (6.0 kW) Kohler engine.

Model History[]

For Company history see
Main article: International Harvester

The new "Quiet Line" of Cub Cadets introduced in late-1974 was completely restyled, with hood side panels and other additions to reduce engine noise levels. The 8-hp International Cub Cadet 800 replaced the 86. The 800 was overbuilt and overpriced for its market and so it was replaced for 1976 by the lighter International Cadet 81
