Model History[]

For Company history see
Main article: International Harvester

The 10th anniversary line of Cub Cadets introduced in late-1971 looked about the same as previous models but underneath was a new, wider, frame for easier mounting of engines and other components. The 10-hp International Cub Cadet 108 replaced the 106. The 108 kept the black bands on the hood sides with the "Cub Cadet" script and model number but a green pinstripe distinguished the 108 and 109 from other models.
