Model history[]

For basic 444 utility tractor see International 444. For higher-profile industrial model see International 2444.

The International 2444 Lo-Boy was basically a 2444 industrial lowered slightly with smaller diameter wheels. Such low-profile tractors, also called LCG (low center-of-gravity) or turf tractors with their small diameter, wide, tires were used for golf-course maintenance, highway mowing, and sometimes for orchard work.

Tractor Comparison, gasoline models[]

The International 2444 Lo-Boy competed with the Case 430LCK and later 470LCG, Ford 2110, John Deere JD300 Turf, and Massey Ferguson MF2135 Turf Special.
