Model historyEdit

Main article: International Harvester

For basic 424 utility tractor see International 424. For higher-profile industrial model see International 2424.

The International 2424 Lo-Boy was basically a 2424 industrial lowered slightly with smaller diameter wheels. Such low-profile tractors, also called LCG (low center-of-gravity) or turf tractors with their small diameter, wide, tires were used for golf-course maintenance, highway mowing, and sometimes for orchard work.

Tractor Comparison, gasoline models Edit

The International 2424 Lo-Boy competed with the Case 430LCK, Ford 2000 LCG and later 2110 LCG, John Deere JD300 Turf, and Massey Ferguson MF2135 Turf Special.
