The 1200B was changed very little from the 1200A. The only styling change was a new grille with a chrome grille surround and a fine mesh center (the truck in the photo has a modified grille). The maximum GVW rating was unchanged at 7300 lb. The engine lineup was mostly unchanged: BG-241 and BG-265 6-cylinder and V266 and V-394 V8s. A new top option was the 197-hp V-345 V8 previously used only in medium-duty Loadstar and tilt-cab trucks.
