
The Ivel tractor still working after 100 years
The Hunday Collection was a large collection of tractors collected from the 1960s onwards by Northumberland dairy farmer Jonh Moffitt OBE. It formed the basis of the Hunday Museum till 1989 when the collection was dispersed following the closure of the museum. The collections most famouse exhibit was the 1903 Ivel tractor which John Moffitt used to raise a large sum for charity by driving it from Lands End to John-o-Groats.

The collection[]
Some of the items which were in the collection include;
- The only working Ivel tractor in existance
- a number of Ferguson tractors and examples of nearly every Ferguson attachments and implement offered.
- Fowler Gyrotillers - 170 hp, 80 hp and 40 hp
- many other rare makes and models
