Model historyEdit

For brand history, see Hesston.

The 7600 was introduced in 1975 and was the new model that replaced the Field Queen Standard model. It was produced beginning at Hesston's Field Queen Division plant at Maize, Kansas, USA, and ended at Hesston's main factory in the early 1980's. The powerplant was a 210 HP Cat 3208 V-8 Diesel engine. In 1974 and 1975, Field Queen was the worlds largest manufacturer of forage harvesters with the addition of the Field Queen Side Dump and Rear Dump models.
