The Hadfield-Penfield Steel Co. of Bucyrus, Ohio was formed from The American Clay Machinery Company in the early 20th century (circa 1920). The company had two main manufacturing facilities; Bucyrus, Ohio and Willoughby, Ohio. The Company built Brick making equipment, Bakery equipment, Sips Deck machinery, Fuel-oil Engines, Cement making machinery, Clay Working Machinery, Liberty Lathes, Ferrous and Grey Iron castings, Rotary Dryers, Industrial Locomotives, Trac-conversions for tractors.
