In 1923, Ramón and Amadeo Guasch arrived from Spain to settle in a field in Bigand and dedicate themselves to agricultural tasks.
In the decade of the 30', begins the manufacture of the motor-driven harvester with iron. And in turn, they have the concern to technify the collection of seeds. They created in the beginning the corn, sunflower, sorghum, etc., gathering device.
In 1948, they moved to Casilda and set up a repair workshop for agricultural machinery, also providing collection services in fields neighboring Casilda.
Factory[]
The factory was built in 1950, and its main objective was the production of a new design of maize, sunflower and sorghum gathering apparatus whose main characteristic were the points to chains.
Because of such an invention, patent No. 86650, they were exempt for 10 years from the payment of provincial and national taxes.
The factory had a maximum of 80 employees. Over the years, the production of seeders of coarse grains is born, recognized for their famous qualities.
They imported directly from England, the Perkins engines, the chains were brought from Italy - Regina brand - and the covers were of Dutch origin.
A total of 18 combine harvesters were manufactured until 1960, since labor and union conflicts began at that time.
The factory continued to produce tooth harrows, transportable balances, heavy disc harrows and tooth harrows.

In 1971, the company R and A Guasch was dissolved by its own decision.

Currently, they continue to manufacture self-loading hoppers, heavy disc harrows and tooth harrows.
Ms. Adela Guasch arrives to preside with her husband the company. Doña Adela is Ramón's daughter.
