Greaves Cotton, Ltd is a conglomerate based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India that was founded in 1859. Their current focus is in Agricultural Equipment, Automotive, Auxiliary Power, Construction Equipment, Industrial Engines and Aero Engines.
In 2000, Greaves and SAME set up a 50-50 joint venture in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India to produce tractors in Ranipet, India, called SAME Greaves. Greaves sold their portion to SAME in 2002.[1]
