The Avery collection started in 1998 with the purchase at the Cheffins summer sale at Great Yorkshire Showground of a Avery 18-36 for the sum of £7800 for a very rare tractor, that was in a very poor state. Since then he has built up what is probaly the largest colection of Avery tractors outside of the USA and may be the most complete 'set' of this marque.
These are some of the larger collections of vehicles and machinery currently listed on this web site that belong to private owners. They are NOT open for public viewing, but some of the items are regularly exhibited at rallies, shows, road runs and other such events by the owners. (for collections that operate as museums see the Museums list)
