PT. Garuda Matraman Motor is a Indonesian car assembly plant located in Jakarta. It was founded in 1998 as a joint-venture between the Volkswagen Group and the IndoMobil Group. The company is responsible for the supply of group A platform series (for example, Golf, Jetta and Audi TT) and other platforms (including Lamborghini platform, which is used to assemble the road going Audi R8, but never assemble any Lamborghinis) to Australasian and South East Asian countries.

The units which have been assembled in Indonesia can be identified on a J on the eleventh position of the Vehicle Identification Number. Imported models of the company are Volkswagen Scirocco, Volkswagen Tiguan, Volkswagen Touareg, Volkswagen Phaeton and the Volkswagen New Beetle (via World Auto). The Volkswagen Passat CC is only offered on the Thai market.

Currently, Volkswagen concern is discusing the idea to make a plant expansion for manufacturing the Audi A1, as the company never used the A0 platform. But intern, this idea is controversial.
