A large number of scale models of Steam engines are often present at rallies. These models vary from a scale of 1" > Foot up to some at 6" > foot (1/2 full size) and even 9" > Foot (3/4 size). Early models were built by people from scratch in there own workshops and even casting parts themselves. Now you can by kits of casting , complete ready machined kits to bolt and rivet together, or ready built engines.
