The Dexta was designed as a smaller companion for the Fordson E1A Major to suit smaller farms and yard work.
Specification
Engine - A straight 3-cylinder engine designed and built by Ford and Perkins. The design is based on the famous Perkins P3 engine and was made to Ford requirements by Perkins using block castings from Fords Dagenham foundry.
Dexta: 3.5 inch bore by 5 inch stroke - 144 cubic inchs
Super Dexta: 3.6 inch bore by 5 inch stroke - 152 cubic inchs
