The Ford 3055 was a tractor built for the European market by Ford Tractors at the factory in ? (Belgium or Antwerp) from 1970 till 1975. It was offered with either 2WD or 4WD and fitted with a 3-cylinder petrol or diesel engine rated at 52 hp (39 kW).
Specials[]
- The 4WD conversion was built using a Schindler axle.
- Mailam of Italy built a small Crawler tractor based on the Ford 3055 skid unit.
Preservation[]
A least one example has been imported into the UK, which was sold at a Cheffins auction in 2009 and bought by a tractor collector. It was shown at the 2009 Woodcote Rally.(photo above)
