The original Foden steam bus was produced by Fodens of Sandbach, Cheshire, England in the early 1900s. There are several old photos of the works band with a steam bus.
The bus featured on the right is a modern recreation built on Foden steam wagon no. 4258s chassis and running gear in place of a standard truck body.
