Türk Traktör (Turk Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Corporation) is a tractor and engine manufacturer based in Ankara, Turkey. Minneapolis-Moline Türk Traktör was founded in 1954 as a joint venture with the American tractor company, Minneapolis-Moline (MM), and the Turkish companies MKE, TZDK, Ziraat Bank, Tariş and Çukobirlik. The factory started manufacturing in 1955 in Ankara in a former aircraft manufacturing plant. In 1956, 1,056 licensed Minneapolis-Moline tractors (MMTT) were built.[1]

In 1962, the first Fiat tractors were assembled, with licensing to manufacture Fiat's signed in 1963. Production of the MMTT tractors ended in 1965 with a total of 4,879 MMTT tractors having been assembled since the beginning of the joint venture. MM's shares were transferred to a holding company, Motec Industries, in 1961, then in 1967 to the White Motor Company, parent of White Farm Equipment. Also in 1967, Fiat took over half of the MM shares. Engine assembly, and later production, began in 1968, and the company's name was changed to Türk Traktör ve Ziraat Makineleri, or Turk Tractor and Agricultural Machinery Corporation.

In 1978, the 100,000 tractor was produced. Türk Traktör's first exports were to Pakistan in 1979. All of the government shares of the company were turned over to Koç Holding on September 12, 1992.

In 1998, shares were equalized between what was now New Holland and Koç Holding, with about 25% offered to the public. New Holland branded tractors began production this year. In 2000, New Holland (Fiat) acquired the Case IH company, and the name changed to CNH Global. Case IH tractors were produced starting in 2002. The 500,000 tractor was produced in 2007.

In March 2011, Adapazarı, a second assembly plant in cooperation with Otokar was constructed, which is the second largest tractor factory assembly line. On February 16, 2012, the 10,000th model was produced, New Holland TT-series tractor.

The domestic production consists the of New Holland and Case IH brands, with T480, TT, 56, TDD, JX and TDS (straddle) series being produced, with horsepower ranging from 50-95 HP. In addition to these two brands. for export, Steyr Tractors have been produced since 2011. Domestic production started producing 110 hp (82 kW) tractors beginning in May 2012.
