Tractor Comparison[]

The Ford 4610 and 4630, IMT 560, Iseki T6000 and similar WFE-Iseki 2-55, Lamborghini 660, SAME Solar 60, and Zetor 6211 developed about the same pto hp as the Case IH 585 using diesel engines of about the same size (roughly 200 ci). The Japan-built WFE-Iseki and Italian SAME were priced about $1000 lower than the Case IH and the Zetor from the Czech Republic was more than $7000 cheaper. The John Deere 2350 and 2355, the Landini 6530F and 6830F, and the Massey Ferguson MF270 had larger 4-cylinder engines and developed slightly more power, with higher prices for the John Deere and Massey Ferguson. The John Deere 1450 was a lighter tractor built in Japan that cost less than the Case IH. The Deutz-Allis 6250, Hesston-Fiat 60-66, Kubota M4950F and M5030, and Long 510 and 2510 all developed slightly less power with their smaller engines. The Romanian-built Long models were priced far below the Case IH 585.
