History[]

For Company history, see Allis-Chalmers.

A number of these tractors were supplied to the US Military during World War 2 and a number were shipped to the UK under the Lend Lease deal. They were often used for land clearance with Bulldozer gear to help increase the area of land under cultivation. The US forces used them for airfield building.

After the war most were sold of to civilian contractors and farmers.

Preservation[]

A number of examples have been restored in the UK.
