Fertiliser spreader is usually used to describe a device for the spreading of man made pelleted fertiliser, and not manure produced by the live stock. The spreaders are adjustable to regulate the dosage, and in some cases area covered. As diffent types of fertilser are applided at differing rates dependant on time of year and crop requirements.
