The firm of EVA was a Belgium based Ford tractor dealer and converter. The firm built Four-wheel drive conversions for the European market and 6-cylinder conversions using a special cast sub frame to solve the problem of the Ford industrial engine not having a stressed (structural) block that the Agricultural engines have.
UK Applications
- This Cast frame was used by County in the UK on some models to add the 6-cylinder engine inplace of the 4-cylinder for some models.
- Ford also used it in the 8100 assembled by County for them in the early 1980s.
- The JJ Thomas conversions also used it.

UK Conversions
Tractors featuring the EVA sub frame:
Preservation
The odd example of continental conversions are being collected in the UK now as people look for that "Unusual" tractor to add to there collection. Other tractors using the EVA supplied sub frame built by UK converters and Ford can be seen at shows. Some examples have EVA cast into the near side of the casting. ( see photo above)
