Deutz-Araus combine harvesters appeared on the market in the 1990s after Araus was invested in by Deutz-Fahr in Argentina. Based in Noetinger, Córdoba, the factory continued production until 1999. It sat idle until 2003 when AGCO, which had purchased Deutz-Fahr Argentina, sold it to Metalfor.
